There’s an incredible science experiment happening today. Well, a series of experiments. It’s called the YouTube Space Lab and it’s sponsored by Lenovo and YouTube. The footage is being live-streamed from the International Space Station.
YouTube challenged the world to come up with a science experiment for space and put it on YouTube. From thousands of teams, a group of space and science pioneers shortlisted six regional winners with the help of the YouTube community.
Finally, two global winners were selected to have their experiments performed on the International Space Station and streamed live (embedded below) on YouTube for the whole world to see. Bill Nye is hosting the stream and giving a bit more background and information about how each experiment works.
What experiment would you run in outer space?
