February Issue of Edudemic Magazine Now Available!

The second issue of the Edudemic iPad Magazine is ready and waiting for you. We worked with a half-dozen top-notch education authors and thinkers to create some truly premium content that’s ready to get you thinking and inspired. Perfect weekend reading.

From a look at how technology has placed education on the cusp of revolution to an intimate look at digital textbooks, there’s a lot packed into this issue. Let’s not forget about the technical fun too!

There’s interactive infographics, swiping, pinching, zooming, and other fun goodies. You get a lot for a couple bucks! Just click the image below to download the app in iTunes.

Subscription Problems

I wanted to mention a quick bit about subscriptions. We had some issues with versions 1.0 and 1.1 of the app where not everyone’s subscription worked. Huge pain. Luckily, we consulted with both Apple and Adobe and were able to figure out the underlying issue.

Long story short, subscriptions now work for everyone!

No matter when you subscribed, you’ll have access to the February issue and the next 6 (or 12 if you bought a year subscription) issues at the subscription discount. Unfortunately, this means the January issue isn’t included in your subscription unless you explicitly purchased it for $1.99 as we’re already onto the next issue. Regardless, you’ll get your full paid-for amount of issues with your subscription.

If you’re having trouble with the app, you can delete it from your Newsstand and then re-download it. That has helped a few people who were having trouble. If you’re thinking about subscribing, know that we have thoroughly tested the current version of the app (v 1.2) and it’s working perfectly.

Now we can move onto focusing on content and not bug fixes. Huzzah!

Thank YOU

To everyone in the Edudemic community, thank you for making the iPad Magazine such a hit. We’ve seen a crazy amount of downloads (we even ‘sold out’ for a few hours, didn’t even know that was possible!) and it wouldn’t have been possible without all. Thank you.
