Sweet! You Can Now Embed Learnist Boards Into Your Blog

We’re big fans of Learnist, the ‘Pinterest for Education’ and have an exclusive update you should know about. Learnist has just upgraded their site to now allow for the ability to embed your learning boards into your website or blog.

It’s been fun to follow the early stages of Learnist and see how the folks at Grockit (they made Learnist) have taken the idea of pinning educational content and turned into a social experience. If you want to learn more about Learnist, check out our first post on how it signals a change in education technology.

It’s very simple. If you’ve ever embedded a YouTube video, Scribd document, or multimedia hosted on another platform, you can do this. You just navigate over to your particular board, mouse over the ‘more’ button to the right of all the share links (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)

Then you get an option to choose how big you want your Learnist board to appear on your blog or website (see the image on the right). Then, just copy and paste that code into your site. If you use WordPress, make sure you select the ‘HTML’ tab on your post editor otherwise it won’t work.
