There’s never an excuse for cheating. However, it’s always amusing to see the lengths some students will go to cheat. Rather than spend the time studying to, you know, actually learn something they instead spend time figuring out ways to game the system. This student, for whatever reason, has created quite a convincing way to fool teachers and other students into thinking he is actually working on something.
This student may be simply checking his phone during class but that really doesn’t make it much better. How far have your students gone to cheat? I’m curious to hear some of your horror stories and how you responded.
