Since many of our readers also write blogs of their own, I’m sure many of you already know this – but writing a blog really forces you to reflect on the new year. What’s going to happen worth writing about this coming year? What happened last year? What were some of the most popular or controversial things we wrote about this past year? What will we try to do differently moving forward?
This is really not that much different than what many individuals do in their personal life. While diet and exercise seem to rule personal resolutions, we look at things like themes we know we’ll be covering, interesting conferences that will be happening, tech announcements, and trends in professional development and classroom technology use. While it is clearly impossible to predict with 100% accuracy what the technology and classroom trends will be, we still like to look and take some guesses.
2014 is shaping up to be a really great year. We have a lot of teachers interested in sharing their classroom successes with us, more and more folks interested in technology-based professional development, and really cool technology hardware and software tools infiltrating our classrooms. We love knowing how excited our readers are about the education trends, technology, and classroom tools that we share.
We here at Edudemic wish all of our readers a new year filled with prosperity, joy, contentment, well-behaved students, and long school vacations.
