I’ve been really enjoying the community that has sprouted up around Edudemic. This site first started as a way for me to basically keep track of some of the fun stuff I was working on for my full-time job as a web guy in higher ed…but it quickly turned into more than that. That’s why I want to make Edudemic an even better resource for anyone who visits the site.
I’m building Edudemic 2.0, a curated site that will feature as much information about education and technology as you can handle. Without giving too much away, you’ll be able to see what’s happening on Twitter, your favorite blogs, what larger news sources are saying about education, and more.
In order to do that, I need your help. The new Edudemic site is capable of showing off what YOU just blogged about and directly linking to your blog post. It’s going to be a great way to inform people about your site (and it certainly won’t hurt traffic coming to your site either). I’ve reached out to 20 of the biggest bloggers in the world of education and every single one (thanks!) is on board with this idea.
If you want to have your blog featured on the new Edudemic (rolling out in a month or less) then get in touch with me at edudemic [at] gmail.com. You won’t have to do anything except give me a little description about your blog (if you want). I’ll be more than happy to clue you in to a bit more about what’s planned for Edudemic.
