    Very interesting.
    I’m from the Czech Republic and the pic is pretty accurate. I’d just add a fish soup, which is eaten ‘for good luck’ just before the main meal.
    I currently live in Brazil and again, you got it right. A bowl of fresh fruit (mainly plums, peaches, pineapple, watermelon and grapes) is usually included on the Christmas dinner table. Merry Christmas!

    Which “holiday”? Turkey isn’t that popular at Christmas in the US. Ham or roast chicken is more common. Turkey at Christmas is a Canadian or British thing; some people do it in the US, but since most everyone went to the effort of roasting a turkey a month before, few people want to do it again.
