Edudemic was founded 18 months ago as a way to discuss, share, and try out the latest education technology. It is now a 200,000-strong community of teachers, education administrators, and technology buffs looking to learn about and try the next big thing.

Why An iPad Magazine?

It’s impossible to talk about education technology without mentioning the Apple iPad. At least half of the articles and discussions on Edudemic involve the iPad in some way. That’s why editors Jeff Dunn and Terry Heick as well as 6 authors created the first-ever monthly education technology iPad magazine.

Dubbed ‘Edudemic Magazine,’ this monthly publication will be available in the Apple App Store starting in January 2012. The first issue is appropriately all about the iPad’s role in education.

What Does It Cost?

The magazine operates on a pretty standard subscription model. The inaugural issue will be free to everyone forever. After that, it’s just $0.99 per issue. This small price actually makes the whole magazine possible. Each issue is jam-packed with content you won’t find anywhere else. From app guides to interactive features and in-classroom videos… you get a lot for a dollar.
