If you’re a bit tech-savvy and have felt yourself slowly becoming a one-person IT department for your parents (or friends!) then you’re in luck. Some helpful Googlers just whipped up TeachParentsTech.org, an easy-to-use and innovative solution to bridging the technology divide.
How It Works
You simply fill out the form (below) and select what helpful videos you’d like to send to your loved one(s). You then preview the message and then send it on its way. What could be easier than that? This will likely save you (if you’re like me), more than a few hours of tech support with friends and family.
It doesn’t yet have How-To videos about mobile phones but I’m guessing there will soon be some Android-based ‘HowTo’ videos that you can choose.
Be sure to give it a try today and especially on Christmas! After all, there will be lots of instances where someone gets a piece of new technology and has no idea how to use it. Enjoy!
